There is no denying that Naveen and I are a boring couple. When the weekend comes we either stare at each other and play the "what do you want to do" "I dunno" game. Or we do laundry and vacuum. So I made a date box. Now we don't have to waste our weekend wondering what would be fun or interesting to do.
Saturday I took Naveen on a drive up to Fort Calhoun and we swung by the Boyer Chute Wildlife Area. Most of it is closed still from the flooding last year. You can see why! It looks like a desert. We didn't get very far in before the road was closed and I have no idea how far away the river is from this location, but damn that's a LOT of sand!
